Pilates exercises focus on the core muscles of the abdomen, back, pelvic girdle and shoulder girdle; working from the inside out to strengthen, lengthen and tone the muscles as well as increasing flexibility, posture and balance.
Massage - deep tissue massage combined with myofascial techniques are useful in the release of muscle tension and stiffness in the neck and back areas. Following muscle injuries, deep tissue massage is also used to break down adhesions, release pain and muscle tensions.
